The Leap

I've decided to take a leap. Not a tiny one but a substantial big leap.

I'm excited yet nervous.

My shop will most likely be opened by 21st April 2007.

From the steps that i've taken, i'm amazed at how i managed to juggle my schedules these 2 weeks.

I've gone from work, to meeting the property agents to the contractors, followed by the wholesaler, etc.

You get the idea, i was basically rushing around on my 2 flat feet.

I've decided to resign from my current job. I really hate to leave.

I love the people & the environment. (Not to mention the benefits i get) but i dislike the job scope i have.

A new opportunity awaits me.

On Tuesday i'll be meeting up with my potential empolyers.

Hopefully with a new flexible job, i'll be able to "babysit" my business & work.

Of course, my main priority will definately be my "baby".

I've moved slowly to attain my dream.

To have a shop to call my own.

To decide on the interiors, to the running, hiring & firing.

I wish 3 years from now, when i do read back on my blog, my "baby" has grown.

This leap isnt an easy jump to make, call me crazy but i'll fight my way through.

Isn't he just adorable?

He's less than a year old, my colleague's son.

He reminded me of ploggy.

Work load has been crazy & i'm trying to clear as much as i can before i leave for my trip tomorrow.

Been communicating with ploggy on MSN frequently.

Nothing personal. Just exchanging Mp3 files, web sites & really short conversations.

I'm happy knowing that he's not totally out of my life & we're still friends.

My long awaited break is finally here.

This time round there better be no monkeys snoring, disrupting my sleep.

Of many things that happened..

CNY passed by in a flash, am pretty glad it did though.

I was down with food poisoning after reunion dinner at about 1am in the morn.

Rushed to East Shore, took 2 jabs at the bum, spent the rest of the night vomiting & rushing for the bowl.

Spent the 4th day at Bintan. I suck at any sport with a stick/rod/pole/whatever in my hands.

Ria Bintan is by no doubt still the best golf course nearest to Singapore.

I enjoyed having time alone just lying on the deck chair, taking a stroll along the beach with the sea breeze blowing into my face.

I had a particular song playing repeatedly on my ipod.
